SOFRA Seasonal Classes & Dinners

SOFRA (سفرة), meaning “table spread” in Arabic, is a space where cross-cultural cuisine meets seasonal, locally-sourced produce. Guided by our elders, we use what’s in season, learn about the produce we are using, and give “ugly produce” a chance at the limelight with traditional recipes from around the world.

Our aim is to foster a love of seasonal cooking, cultural exploration, and community. A communal dinner preparation and mealtime - it’s just like grandma’s kitchen, only if you had a grandma from every corner of the world.

Yalla bina ‘ala SOFRA! (Let’s go to the table!)
